Introduction to CMX

CMX is a Condition Monitoring Predictive Maintenance system that collects data from various sources, and uses it to generate machine and process-related information, messages and recommended actions.

CMX enables predictive maintenance, where predictions for the life expectancy of components and systems, pending consumable changes and process-related errors are all communicated in real time. Data from ERP systems can be linked with machine and process data to improve coordination between production and machine availability.

WHAT WE CAN DO

Reactive, Preventative & Predictive Maintenance Strategies

Reactive

In a reactive strategy, maintenance deployments are initiated when the machine has been identified to not be working correctly. The biggest cost factors are unplanned maintenance and production stoppage.

Preventative

In a preventative strategy, maintenance deployments are initiated on a time based schedule. The biggest cost factor is the high proportion of planned maintenance. Moreover, components are replaced which could continue to be used.

Predictive

In a predictive strategy, maintenance deployments are initiated based on the condition of the system. There are some small additional costs initially for the Fluid Condition Monitoring System, but the total operating and maintenance costs over the machine's life are the lowest.
